The DCLA Diamond Certificate guarantees the authenticity of a diamond
and rules out the possibility of it being synthetic or an imitation. The
certificate also contains a complete description of the diamond including:
a unique ID number, weight, colour grade, clarity grade, shape, measurements,
proportions, proportion grade, finish grade, fluorescence, hue and other
remarks. These quality characteristics determine the value of the diamond
and are discussed in detail under "THE 4 C'S". To prevent counterfeiting
the certificate has various security features including holograms, UV
text seal, special paper and embossed foiled crest. Also see Certification
